Let’s dive into the sweetness!

A prolific, elegant store

As mentioned, Nikki and her husband needed a website for their business – and fast. Nikki set up her Ecwid website in a single afternoon.

It worked so well for us that we could get something out quickly because we didn’t have time; we had to work on our business. I didn’t have time to be a web designer at the time. It worked great for us to just be able to move. Nikki Schoeny, owner of Jack & Co. Elderberry syrup

They also wanted to offer an option to pick up in the shop and pay in cash on arrival because many customers would still prefer it. And with Ecwid, they can provide that option at checkout.

With her marketing background, she designed her logo, takes product photos in house, and develops its brand. Just look how elegant:

As the company has grown significantly, it is now looking to expand its workforce. Their goal is to shift their time and focus away from production, move more towards business operations and incrfacilitate their marketing efforts.

HAS Cost effective, An efficient payment solution

Jack & Co. first started accepting payments with Square. But one thing still caught their eye in their Ecwid admin: a pop-up about the cost they would save per transaction if they switched to Lightspeed payments. I would like that too!

They were hesitant to make the transition at first because they didn’t want anything to go wrong. But they decided to go for it and gradually switched from Square to Lightspeed Payments. As they say, you’ll never know if you don’t try.

Thanks to Lightspeed Payments, they saved on costs and benefited from many other features.

For example, Nikki enjoys being able to process refunds and manage everything from one place, Ecwid admin.

Before that, she’ll need to remember her password to log into Square, find the order, and go through the process; “It’s so nice to be able to open the same app we always use for everything else and be able to refund someone super fast.”

Let’s shed some light on what we’re talking about here.

Selling to wholesalers and customers on one platform

Many Jack & Co stores. are for pick up and buy, but many are also wholesale. Their website was established only for direct customers, not for wholesalers. As a result, wholesalers would order via text, call and email – which is inefficient and error prone.

Because bulk orders were difficult to manage, Nikki asked the support team for a solution. How can our wholesalers order through our website?

The Ecwid support team was quick to help them by activating the features on their store. Wholesalers now have a different login and can order wholesale through it. Jack & Co. now accepts B2B and D2C orders on the same platform, which has greatly improved their workflow.

Elderberries were initially local and regional, but as sales grew, they began to be sold nationwide. They sold them to people in Guam, Alaska and Hawaii. But at first they didn’t know how to deal with it.

They were used to using a regional carrier just for the Midwest.

“We relied a lot on chat support because I was like, ‘What can I do about this?’ And how do I add different transport options?”
